Everyone gets 10 new message requests per month. A "new message request" is when you message someone that you havenât chatted with before. This limit resets at the start of each month!
If the recipient approves the request by responding to your DM, it no longer counts towards your 10-message monthly limit.
Similarly, existing conversations donât count towards the limit - you can continue messaging as many people as you've already connected with!
