Do you independently verify that guests have paid?

Payment verification depends on which feature you're using.

Chip In 
Partiful's Chip In feature lets guests pay you directly via Venmo, Cash App, PayPal, or GoFundMe. Because payments happen outside of Partiful, we're unable to verify them, but we do ask each guest to explicitly confirm they've paid. Chip In is designed for collecting money from people you personally know and trust (learn more here).

Ticket Sales
With Partiful's ticketing feature, payments are processed directly through Partiful — so every ticket purchase is automatically verified. You'll always know exactly who has paid and who holds a valid ticket to your event. Unlike the Chip In feature, there's no need to rely on guests self-reporting payment.
