A Public Event differs from a private one in the following ways:
- The location is public (viewable to guests before they RSVP).
- Users can browse public events that their Mutuals have RSVP'd to
- Comments, photos, and Text Blasts are also public.
- In addition to the usual RSVP options, guests can mark themselves as "Interested", which opts them into automated event reminders.
- The event page is crawl-able by search engines like Google.
- The event is automatically submitted to Discover on Partiful.

How do I set my event to public?
In your Event Settings page, open the "Audience" option. There you will find "Who can find this event?" which is set to Private by default. Press on the dropdown to switch your event to "Public".
