To opt out of invites from a host, navigate to their profile, click on the three dots on their profile, and click on "Opt out of invites."
You can also open the event to which you were invited and click on the three dots near the date & time. Then click on "Opt out of all invites."
You can also reply “X” to the invite notification text. You will no longer receive any invitations from this host.
